Traffic Brokers/TB Track can mean different things to different people. It's set up primarily as a business community of entrepreneurs who are striving to earn an income by helping other website owners to earn money with their websites by adding revenue-producing ads on them (see CPA 101 above left).
There's a lot of helpful training and forums provided to accomplish this.

You can sign up for a nominal monthly fee, train, and earn money by marketing your service to web site owners and webmasters.
The good:
- The investment is small (along with a helpful trial period).
- The income potential is decent, depending on what you put into it.
- With a little luck, you can obtain a few decent accounts and build up a residual income, month after month, for as long as they remain your clients.
- Everybody's favorite - you can work from home and choose your schedule.
The not-so-good (lets be honest here):
- The work is tedious as you must "email your brains out" to the appropriate websites. (all this is thoroughly covered in training).
- The response is low so it takes persistence and tenacity. This is something the majority of people in our "instant, push-button society" simply do not possess. If you want success now, it just "aint gonna happen" unless you quickly "luck-out" with a couple of large accounts. (Of course, doesn't this hold true with any legitimate business?)
- You will not earn decent money with low-volume websites - just nickels and dimes - so you must chase the big boys.
Advice:
Take advantage of their 10 day trail - jump on the training and surf the forums. See if this is something you can do. If nothing else, you'll gain a very inexpensive education that can help you down the road.

Jackpot. This should include just about everyone out there who has a site or would like to build one. (Who doesn't want to earn more from their sites?) Even non-profits can benefit with the additional revenue to support their efforts, or at least their sites.
But aren't there other affiliate networks out there offering the same service?
"You bettcha" and "kinda..."!
You can join any of many different networks but they are not the same by any means. And why a network in the first place? So they can earn money "off the top" by "putting it all together" for the affiliate marketers!
Boy, that sure does make things easier! Especially with the "few" that offer tracking tools and a back office. Everything in one place - a good concept...
However, compare closely as there can be lots of variance here!
- Pay-outs can differ dramatically.
- Tracking can be dismal or barely adequate, if even available
- How often do they make pay-outs? What minimums must be generated before a check is sent?
- What kind of tracking tools do they offer, if any? (See CPA 101 to learn of the importance of this!)
- What types of offers do they have for you to promote on your site? This can be scary because you really want quality content on your site so as not to offend your visitors! Ads also should be relevant to your site and/or visitor demographic (more in CPA 101).

There is one thing that's particularly different from the other networks though...
If you are a website owner looking to monetize your site only (i.e., no time or interest in "selling" this service to others), you still have to sign up as an affiliate marketer in order to access all of those awesome offers.
Here's the not-so-good first:
Since you must sign up as an "affiliate marketing member" to access their offers, you'll have to pay the same monthly member fees as they do (around $50/month) to join the network.
The good (or even great):
Joining the network in this fashion is good if you're serious about monetizing your site for two huge reasons -
First: No other affiliate network compares. Review my comparison above. Better yet, don't just take my word for it - bookmark this site, do your own research, then come back when you feel comfortable.
Second: If successful in your advertising efforts, the nominal monthly fee becomes irrelevant for a couple of reasons.
- The high quality of offers, pay-outs and awesome back-office tracking and tweaking system is worth every dime and should pay off with the additional advertising revenue generated.
- You're getting 100% of the affiliate pay-outs because you signed up directly as opposed to going through one of the Traffic Broker affiliates.
Ouch! I hope I don't get in trouble for saying this!
You see, that's how all of the affiliate members get paid - as Traffic Broker Affiliate Members, they earn 15% of all of the revenue that their clients generate.
